A latex-free hydrogel dressing is a flexible gel composed of polyethylene oxide, water and polyvinyl alcohol. They are ideal for burn wound care and are also effective on skin tears, superficial lacerations, ulcers, surgical wounds, skin grafts and donor sites. They are capable of maintaining a moist wound-site while effectively absorbing fluids exuding from the wound area. As a burn bandage, they promote faster healing and reduce pain.

For re-hydration of necrotic tissue while allowing easy visualization of wound sites, NuMed's Amorphous Hydrogel Dressing offers the benefits of adding moisture to dry wounds, absorbing moisture in wet wounds and allowing for pain-free removal at dressing changes.
